e.l.f. Studio Powder Brush: Review + Photos

This brush only costs $3 on the e.l.f. website, or wherever you can find this brand. To me, this is worth a lot more than $3. This brush is made of synthetic hairs, and, according to e.l.f., is anti-bacterial and may be used wet or dry. This brush is also versatile because you can use it with setting powder, contouring, blending, etc.

I personally find this to be the most useful when setting your foundation. I've heard a few times that it's best to stipple/pat powder over foundation, rather than brush it on, which can ruin the pigmentation or texture of your foundation. This is the perfect brush for the stippling technique. I find this brush saving me a lot of time setting my foundation because for one, it's pretty big in circumference and covers a substantial amount of my face. If you use pressed powder, its also really easy to swirl this brush around in it.

I wash this brush about three times a week, because I firmly believe in keeping whatever brushes you use on your face clean at all times to prevent breakouts and clogged pores. This has not shed, or lost its shape or bristle quality. Although, it does takes a long time to dry because it's large and dense.

This brush can be a little hard to find, but it should be found at a local Target, or anywhere else e.l.f. products are sold. I strongly recommend getting this brush, it gives off such a nice finish with powder.
