Some of Sleek's other blushes have a lot of shimmer. In the pan, Flamingo appears to be very matte, but when it's swatched on the hand or applied to the face, it completely changed its finish that I didn't expect at all. It doesn't exactly have a shimmery finish, but it does have a sort of luminous, lustre finish. Almost that of a highlighter.
It is a very longwear blush, and has lasted me for over 12 hours without fading. It doesn't look chalky or accentuate pores. It can be a little difficult to blend, but nothing impossible. This color is obviously very vibrant, and I would expect this particular shade to be more pigmented than others that Sleek carries. Since this has a high pigmentation, I have to very lightly tap my finger on the actual product and apply it to my face, blending it out with a brush. Even so, the color is a little brighter than what I'm used to for everyday, but I think it works well with this season (it's summer where I live).
The packaging is compact style, so it comes with a mirror. If you were to use this to apply this product, it would work out fine because the mirror is a proportionate size. I don't bring it with me anywhere because it doesn't really need touch-ups. The packaging is very durable. It won't break open or anything if you were to drop it on hard flooring.
I would repurchase this, but I would probably get a less intense shade.
